Returning back to this game after 18 years.
There was orphan boy in village, unaware of ways of world, no one had time to care for him, teach him the ways of world.
He did what he thought right, what brought him joy.
For the rest of the world, what he did was arrogant, rude, disrespectful and mean.
Rather than taking right way, of caring for him, giving him what god did not give, introducing him to care and love of family, teaching him the right way of doing things, villagers took easy way to, finish him for good as they thought he was the rotten apple that didn’t deserved to live.
They waited for the opportune moment and caught that kid off guard and started beating the life out of that kid and to their surprise,
that kid just laughed.
Soldier, part of vanguard unit, on the key hill of battlefield, utilised all grenade, smoke, all his ammo to reach top of the hill bunker.
He watched all his brothers dying on the way to that bunker and All that is left with him were his bare hands as he looked at DShK-Chinese-54 breathing fire on the next units coming up.
From outside the bunker, he started pulling barrels of those MGs, bare handed while watching flesh of his hand burned while guns rolled down on hill.
Before the enemy troops in bunker realised what’s going on, he got inside and started throwing all guns, grenade pouches and boxes down the hill.
With initial shock wearing down in that bunker unit, enemy units started stabbing and beating that soldier and to their surprise,
that soldier just laughed.
Man, lying in bed in hospital, waiting for results from doctor, heard doctor giving him the verdict.
He was not going to get old, that was very certain.
While doctors explained gravity of situation to him, he had faint smile on his face.
Surprised doctor asked him, how can you smile while I’m reading what is going to happen to you soon or very soon?
Man replied, I finally figured out,
why that boy and that soldier just laughed.
Doctor did not get it, assuming shock got to his head, doctor left.
While doctor was leaving, smiling man muttered,
zugzwang doctor, zugzwang is the answer.
That smiling Man on that hospital bed, recited beautiful poem of Sayeed Quadri while preparing plan for rest of his life.
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart
At every moment there is restlessness
Who is there in my heart
What is this fire burning
Which has no smoke nor spark
Without doubt on this side
A dream has burnt in my heart
What my heart has said yes for
My mind says no for the same thing
In love you have to fight with yourself
There is a punishment in my heart
The lines of destiny on dagger like hands
Who has been able to write that
But in a rage of madness
I've stabbed myself in hand and in the heart
To stray, to wander
I have this desire in my heart |
