Hussars were brave, well-trained and unstoppable in battle, elite Polish heavy cavalry. Their characteristic feature was wings attached to various parts of the armor or saddle. They have won countless battles that have gone down in history. The secret of their great victories was long-term, hard, and regular combat training. And of course, their unique battle formation, which consisted of a charge in dispersion. Only when they were very close to the enemy, did they tighten their formation and break the enemy's ranks. This allowed light cavalry to enter the fight and finally defeat the enemy army.
